Lazy dumplings with potatoes: a recipe for a delicious breakfast
When you don't want to mess with molding ordinary dumplings, lazy ones come to the rescue. Cooking them is much faster, you can make them in advance and freeze them in advance.
Dumplings are prepared on the basis of mashed potatoes with the addition of oil and flour. For children, you can prepare a version without onions, simply by adding sour cream.
Components
potatoes - 300 g;
flour - 100 g;
eggs - 1 pc.;
butter - 10 g;
onion - 1 pc.;
oil - 2 tbsp. L.;
ground black pepper;
salt;

Preparation
Peel the onion. Cut into half rings. Heat a pan with oil, fry the onion until golden.
Peel the potatoes. Boil in salted water until done. Mash the boiled potatoes into puree. Add butter, egg, salt, pepper. Mix well.
Pour the flour into the mashed potatoes in small portions. Mix everything first with a spoon, and then with your hands. The dough will be thick, but it will stick to your hands a little.
Roll the potato dough into a thin bundle. Cut into small pieces.
Cook dumplings in boiling salted water. As soon as they float to the surface, boil for two minutes. Remove the finished dumplings from the water with a slotted spoon. Serve with fried onions and fresh herbs.
Advice
Potato dumplings can be served with crackers.
