A very tasty and inexpensive breakfast for the whole family: prepare fluffy pancakes without eggs and milk.
If you want pancakes, but there are no eggs, milk and oil at home, try to prepare an original version of this dish on semolina. You will be surprised how tasty, cheap and easy it is.
You will need the following ingredients:
semolina - 250 grams
flour - 20 grams
sugar - 1 tablespoon
salt - half a teaspoon
dry yeast - 5 grams
warm water (40 degrees) - 500 milliliters
baking powder - 10 grams
apple cider vinegar (you can take ordinary) - 1 teaspoon.
Let's start cooking. Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl. Gradually add warm water. It is not necessary to introduce all the liquid at once, do it in several stages and constantly stir the dough.
Then take a blender and beat the liquid for 3 minutes. The dough should be very thin, without lumps of flour. Cover the bowl with a film and leave it in a warm place for 10-15 minutes.
After that, add baking powder and vinegar to the dough. The dough is ready - start frying. Pour it in small portions on a dry and not very hot pan. Pancakes will be fried only on one side, on medium heat.
Determining readiness is very easy. A pancake is cooked if its upper side, which does not touch the pan, has become completely dry. After cooking, spread the pancakes separately from each other and let them cool.
Then you can serve the dish on the table. If desired, pancakes can be poured with condensed milk, decorated with fruits and berries.
